Ru is the founder of Omdena, a bottom-up collaborative platform that brings together engineers from all over the world to build impactful AI solutions. Since its beginning in May 2019, the platform has grown to more than 5000 collaborators in +100 countries and +70 local chapters. During this period, Omdena has worked with 70+ organizations on over 150 projects, like detecting wildfires in Brazil, fighting malaria outbreaks in Africa, improving solar adoption in Singapore, etc.
